FizryHR provides a quick, convenient way to calculate target heart rate training zones. 

It was designed by an experienced trainer and martial artist and uses the standard 220 minus age formula to estimate a users maximal heart rate. Percentages of maximal heart rate are then calculated based on the result.

FizryHR allows users to choose between the standard and the heart rate reserve (Karvonen) methods.  

Users can also input their age and their current heart rate to quickly gage what percent of their maximal heart rate they are already training at. 

It is not meant to be used as a diagnostic device, or to suggest actual heart rate targets. Various medical conditions and medications can affect heart rate. It is always best to exercise under the guidance and supervision of a highly qualified, professional personal trainer. Always get clearance from a physician before beginning any exercise program. Talk to your physician about appropriate target heart rates for you.
